About Us
Hi. My name is Ruth Lowe and I’m the owner of The Time Fairy.
I know what it’s like to be busy, having worked whilst studying for a degree, raising children, and volunteering in various different roles. I also know that it’s so important to get that work-life balance right, and that’s why I became the Time Fairy.
I love helping people in any way that I can and I have a wide variety of experience, skills and knowledge. I enjoy organising, research, attention to detail and keeping busy. I am reliable, hardworking, flexible and trustworthy. I have an enhanced DBS and UK driving licence.
Work and Life
Volunteering
I have always been involved in volunteering for a variety of different groups because of my desire to help people (and animals). I am currently a volunteer for Cats Protection, fostering cats and kittens until they can be re-homed. I also help at Southam Gymnastics where I am the grants co-ordinator, club welfare officer and health & safety officer.
Work
My last employment role was as Deputy Manager for a Surestart Children’s Centre. There I took on various projects and roles. For example, supporting families in the home, supervising staff, running sessions for families, delivering parenting courses, policy writing, developing paperwork and systems. I was the designated person for Child Protection issues, as well as the go-to person for random problems!
Family
I am married with two grown up children. Parenting is definitely a challenging role, and between my family and work, I have a great deal of experience and knowledge to make family life that little bit easier.
